Why, Mr. Naylor?

Fri Apr 10, 2009, 1:31 PM
  • Mood: Irritated
  • Listening to: Pale Young Gentlemen - The Crook of my Good Arm
  • Reading: Cat's Cradle
  • Watching: Red Dwarf (MOAR LEIK RED DURP, AMIRITE?)
Right, I haven't given any proper updates in at leat 100 years now, so it's time everyone knows whats happening:

I have exams to do, so fuck off >:{

Jesus fuck, I'm been so tired recently that I no longer get out of bed, but roll around the house in search of food and films to watch, as well as every single one of my gay little twitches coming back - all at the same time; I look like I have Parkinson's.

During this time in the holidays I have watched some pretty cool movies which I would like to share with you guys and persuade force you to watch.

One of them is an interesting little film entitiled 'Mirrormask', a film made by Neil Gaiman and that guy that did The Muppets :>
It features a bratty little girl who lives in the circus with her parents who wants to run away from the circus, rather than join it. She does all these pretty little doodles of fantasy worlds and hangs them on her wall because she's so FAKKN AWSUM and shit. Her mother becomes ill (I don't know what of; maybye the's Jade Goody or something, lol) and she goes to live in some dingy flat and be even more of a little shit.
I won't give too much away, but I will say that after a while she becomes captured in the world that she's created on her wall, in which everyone wears masks, twisted and bizarre worlds begin to unfold and all manner of bad shit goes down.
It sounds really crap when I describe it, but it really is a quirky and interesting film and it beats the shit out of Tim Burton.

Also, it features Stephen Fry as a libraian made of books <3

Another film I watched again recently was 'Cyper', a delightfully atmospheric industrial spy story with a plot that twists and turns like a twisty turny thing. When I say 'industrial spy' I don't man someone who has to diguise themselves as pistons to infiltrate Lukas's steam lair ZD\YFUGFIHORJ Just watch it; it's my favourite film ever and it's awesome.

I saw 'Amilie' the other day with Laura, which was loveley, but everyone probably already knows what that it, so I won't bother. I want to buy 'The Fall', as that looks fantastic and certainly up my street.

A not so great film I saw recently was 'Knowing' for quite a few reasons:

1. It's yet another one of those films in which the main character knows something that no-one believes him for until - OH NO! It actually hannenzors!1!1 @w@ )

2. It had potantial as an interesting movie with some intiguing concepts thrown in there, only to be dampened (or drenched) by an onslaught of clicheic devices that ruin the whole thing, especially that balls for shit ending.

3. It had Nicholas Cage in it. Don't see it.

On the subject of dissapoinment, Who here saw the first episode of he new Red Dwarf?
Oh my christ, how could you have done thatm Doug Naylor? When did you become so unfunny? There were about foure times I managed to raise a snicker though that whole episode and even then they felt forced.
What did you do to the quality? The sets look like complete CGI, even the bunk beds. It was so much better when everything was made out of carboard and prit-stick.
Also, what time is this supposed to be set in? It's like they've gone back to series three, but with all of the props and knowledge they had by the end of everything, minus Holly, even the stupis fucking woman one.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I do have some more updates to fill, such as my hair, artwork and music, but, for now, I'll just leave you with a music videa made by Amie, featuring a song my me and her.

Collaboration to the max, yo.

holocaust victims

Connor.

P.P.S: no-one should ever draw tim Minchin in an anime/manga style, nor should thay make some soppy little emo picture with song lyrics in that little curly text. It's just that gay.
SRSY, I searched him in on here and - just - HEENNGGG.

Nicholas Cage is a sack of shit.

From what I saw of Mirrormask at your house, I loved it. But I fucking hate that girl. I hope she dies at the end.
