It was a metaphor for how even though his physical form had gone HIS SOUL STILL LIVED ON! BAWBAWBAWBAWBAWBAWBAWBAWBAWBAWBABWBAW

Ruined a perfectly good idea with far too many things like that, like the hummingbird etc.
